1. The service

AdzOnline designs and builds a business website of up to 10 pages for a fixed once-off price of R1,999. The price includes:

• website design and build, with a mobile-friendly layout;
• a contact form and a WhatsApp button;
• on-page SEO set-up (page titles, descriptions, headings and structured data);
• text written by us from the brief you give us;
• a custom logo design, supplied as PNG files; and
• up to five rounds of changes, as described in section 6.

2. What is not included

The following are not part of the R1,999 price:

• hosting and domain registration (see section 4);
• additional pages beyond 10, charged at R500 per page;
• photography, video and paid stock images;
• online shops and custom functionality, which are quoted separately;
• ongoing services such as SEO, Google Ads and Google Business Profile management; and
• fees charged by third parties for tools or services you ask us to use.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in South African rand. A 50% deposit is payable before we start work. The balance is payable when your website is ready to go live, and we publish the site or hand it over once the balance has been received. We issue an invoice with our banking details. Payment is made by EFT or another method we agree with you in writing.

4. Optional hosting and domain

Hosting is optional. You may host your website with us or with any provider you choose. If you host with us, the fee is R160 per month, billed monthly in advance. Hosting has no minimum term. You may cancel with one calendar month's notice, and your website stays online until the end of the month you have paid for.

Domain names: if you supply a domain, it remains registered in your name. If we register a .co.za domain for you, the fee is R300 per year, billed yearly in advance. The domain is registered in your name as the owner, with AdzOnline as the technical contact.

Failed or late payments: if a hosting payment is not received within 7 days of its due date, your website may be suspended (taken offline) until payment is received. If no payment is received for 90 days, the website and its files on our server may be permanently deleted. Reinstatement after suspension is free. Rebuilding after deletion is quoted separately. Before we delete anything, we will offer you a copy of your website files.

5. Delivery

AdzOnline provides a digital service. There is no physical product, and nothing is shipped. “Delivery” means the completion and handover of your website. Our process works as follows:

• Start: we begin once we have received your brief and your 50% deposit.
• Preview: your website is normally ready for your review within one week of the start. We send you a preview link by email or WhatsApp.
• Going live: once you approve the preview and the balance has been paid, we publish the website on your domain or hand the files over to your hosting provider.
• Placeholder images: if you have not supplied photographs, we use professional placeholder images. We swap in your own photographs free of charge whenever you send them.
• Delays: delivery may take longer than one week if we are waiting on information, approvals or access from you, or during periods of high demand. We will keep you informed.

6. Changes and revisions

You may request up to five rounds of changes to your website before it goes live. A “round” is one consolidated set of change requests sent to us in a single message or email. Changes to the logo count towards the same five rounds. Swapping placeholder images for your own photographs is free and does not use a round.

Further rounds, new pages beyond 10, redesigns and new functionality are quoted separately. After your website has gone live, changes are quoted separately, except where we correct an error in our own work, which is done free of charge.

7. Content and images

We write the text for your website from the information you give us, and you are responsible for checking it for accuracy before approving the site. You warrant that all material you supply (including photographs, logos, names and information) is accurate, is your property or is used with permission, and does not infringe any third party's rights or any law. You indemnify AdzOnline against claims arising from material you supply.

8. Logo design

A custom logo design is included free with your website and is supplied as PNG files. It is designed for your business, but we cannot guarantee that it can be registered as a trade mark. Logo design on its own, without a website, is priced separately at R750.

9. Ownership

Once you have paid in full, you own your website's design, text and logo. Until payment is received in full, they remain the property of AdzOnline.

Your website may include third-party components (such as fonts, code libraries and stock images) that remain subject to their own licences. We keep the right to reuse our general tools, code and know-how on other projects.

Portfolio: we may show your website in our portfolio and marketing. If you would prefer us not to, tell us in writing and we will not.

10. Cancellation and refunds

• Before work starts: if you change your mind and tell us in writing before we have started work on your website, we will refund your deposit in full.
• After work has started: the deposit is non-refundable, because it covers work and time already spent. If you cancel after the preview has been delivered and the website is substantially complete, the balance remains payable for the work completed. We will discuss this with you directly and are open to reasonable arrangements case by case.
• Incorrect charges: if you are charged in error or charged twice, tell us and we will refund the incorrect amount within 7 business days.
• Service failure: if we are unable to deliver your website at all because of a failure on our part, you are entitled to a full refund of what you have paid for it.
• Hosting: you may cancel hosting at any time with one calendar month's notice, as set out in section 4.
• By us: we may cancel or suspend our services if payments remain unpaid, or if the content or use of your website breaches these terms or the law.

Refund requests can be sent to werner@adzonline.co.za or via WhatsApp. Approved refunds are paid back to the account the payment came from within 7 business days.

11. Availability and liability

We aim for maximum uptime, but we rely on third-party hosting and domain infrastructure and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We also cannot guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic or number of enquiries. To the extent permitted by law, AdzOnline's total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

12. Privacy (POPIA)

We collect your business and contact information solely to build and manage your website and to communicate with you, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as needed to deliver the service (for example, hosting and domain registration providers). You may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your information at any time.

13. General

These terms are governed by South African law. We may update these terms from time to time, and any material changes will be communicated to you by email. If any clause is unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. These terms, together with your quote or order confirmation, are the whole agreement between you and AdzOnline (Pty) Ltd.
